She won an Oscar in 22. She fell down on the stair and made audience stood up. She realized that also added it to her speech. I can't describe how much I love Jennifer Lawrence more. She really deserves an Oscar!

This morning, my lecturer showed me this video. This video is about an English course. The students itself are the immigrants from different country such as Pakistan, Japan, Germany, Italy, France, and so on. They all have very different characteristics. The course is never easy, especially for the professor, Mr. Brown because his students are just very complicated. They all have different background and sometimes their different cultures just make the class more messy, but in good and funny way ofc.

After looking for some info about this, I found out that this is from the first episode of British TV Series, Mind Your Language. And it's first shown in 1977! Wow, it's been a long time ago. But it's still very interesting to watch it in 2013. This series is just very different because it entertains and educates at the same time. We can also get a moral value from this, especially about learning a language. That it doesn't matter about your pronunciation or accent, as long as it's acceptable, that's okay!

Stranger on a Plane

Have you ever been traveling only by yourself? And been in a plane, had to sit with strangers. In Christmas! You got no book to read. Everything was awkward. Finally, you had to talk to a stranger. 

"Wow, Oliver Twist. Charles Dickens. You have a good sense in literature." I said to a man beside me. He was reading Oliver Twist. I just found that this might be a good topic. I knew much about Charles Dickens, that famous writer from Victorian period. At least, I could keep this conversation going, until I finally fell asleep. Because this was going to be a very long journey. I was heading to London, still about 10 hours more.

"Thank you. But I think everyone loves Oliver Twist." he said and smiled. See, it'd be a long conversation anymore. But still I didn't give up.

"Are you also heading to London?" stupid question.

"Sure. We all are." he smiled again and continued reading. I was really frustrated. 

"What's your name?" I asked

"What?" he looked very shock.

"I asked you about your name. You know, I may can guess the meaning behind your name. My friends say I'm pretty at it."

Now he giggled.

"I'm Noel!" he said

"Oh, so today must be your birthday?"

"No, no. I was born in May." he said and closed his book. Perhaps wanted to talk more.

"But, Noel is ..."

"Christmas. Everyone knows it. Without even having ability like yours."

"Where are you from?"

"London."

"Ah, so tell me. How's Christmas in London?"

"Are you gonna celebrate it there? It's been late."

"No, no. I came to London for New Year's Eve. And I actually don't celebrate Chrismast."

"If you don't celebrate it, why were you asking?"

"I just want to know. Is it wrong?"

"Okay, okay. Christmas in London is glorious."

"That's it?"

"What do you want more? And I actually never pay attention in it."

"Okay, so how's the New Year's Eve there?"

"You said you come here for that, right?"

"Yep."

"So why don't you just wait till you're there and watch it by yourself"

"But what if something bad suddenly occurs in this plane. Like what if the plane crashed?"

"If that your wish. I wish it came true."

"What? It's just... Ah, whatever."

"Don't be afraid. If the plane crashed, you would die beside me. And to die by your side is such a heavenly way to die" he looked at me and smiled

"The Smiths. Do you also like them?" suddenly the conversation was going well again.

"I'm English. We all love them. Do you like them?'

"I know some of their songs." I smiled and suddenly I thought that I began to love this man.

"What's your name?"

"What?"

"Your name. I'm asking bout your name."

"Sally."

"Who?" he looked surprise

"Sally. My name is Sally." I repeated

"No..." he looked confuse 

"Yes, not that Sally Cinnamon."

"I know, but ..."

"But what?"

"I've never met a girl called Sally in my entire life."

"Then... you just met her."

He smiled then.

"I'll take you."

"Where?"

"Somewhere. Where nobody knows if it's night or ...day."

Then we all laughed. Later, I just found this guy ain't just that stranger sitting beside me on a plane. He saved my life on that day where my star started fading away.

He's moved to Spain 3 years ago. But fans keep singing his game in almost every game. And he said that he also missed Old Trafford and everyone in it. He said Fergie will always be like a father for him. And OT is such a home for him. Now, fate always can find its own way. UEFA Champions League's Draw has just finished now. And Real Madrid will face Manchester United. They will first play at Bernabeu. Then Ronaldo will go back to 'home'. I just can't imagine how Old Trafford will be. But one thing, we'll welcome you home very nicely. See you soo, Cristiano :))

An Arsenal Fan Stated that van Persie's move to Man United was Right

Arsene Wenger asked the fans to respect Robin van Persie before the match against Manchester United on November 3. But some fans were still bullying him, especially when he gave his jersey to Andre Santos at the half time. Well, that's actually normal when your best player move to the biggest rival. But Arsenal fans should have stopped bullying him because van Persie actually gave a huge respect for Arsenal. In that game, Robin scored a goal for Man. United but he didn't celebrate. He said that he had played 8 years there and still give respect to all the people in Arsenal. He even hugged Wenger at the end of the game. But Arsenal fans were probably still mad. They still gave no respect to him. 

But a week later, a surprising statement came from an Arsenal fan said that Robin's decision to move was right. This is the whole statement that he wrote on twitter:

"Robin van Persie was right.The difference between Arsenal and
Manchester United has been crystal clear tonight and, for the first time, I don't blame Robin van Persie one bit for forcing his way out of Arsenal. He moved to a better team and turned down a bigger money offer from ManCity.
Today Arsenal led 2-0 and threw it away, whilst Man Utd

trailed 0-2 and came back to win 3-2.
The worst part is that at 2-0, you knew Arsenal would throw it away. At 0-2, you knew Man Utd would come back."

Paradise Live 2012 from Paris

 

Happy November, all you guys! Sorry it's kinda late cause already the 11th of November. I've told you before that Coldplayers will hold a party in this month. Party here means celebrating the release of Coldplay Live 2012 DVD. For you who already pre-order it must be very anxious for it. Same here. But be patient, it will be released in only 8 days from now on! And actually there's still a more party. But too bad I can't join it. So this Coldplay Live 2012 will not only be released in DVD but also be shown in cinemas. It will be shown on November 13th -means tomorrow in more than 50 countries, including Indonesia. But unfortunately it will be on selected cinemas. And in Indonesia, it's only available in Jakarta which is far away from where I live now. How lucky for those who are able to watch the live concert film from the best live band ever!

Well, being able to watch it or not, here's a good news for us. Coldplay has given us a video from the album to enjoy. It's Paradise live in Paris 2012. You may have been so familiar with this song or even the video which is featured the band members in elephant suit. How can we forget? Or we may have watched the live version of Paradise in their shows. But trust me, this is the best live version I've ever watched. The people in Paris are just so damn lucky. Begun with the sound of piano from Charlie Brown, it may sound usual if we only listen to it. But there's something special when we watch the video. The Xylobands here seem glowing in its best. The crowd are so damn enthusiastic. And I think it's a rare occasion that Chris asks the audience to sing along in this song. But he did it in France! Coldplay has given France a Paradise.
